1. Who we are

Ultimate Mobile Detailing LLC ("we", "us", "our"), operating the Detail Quoter service ("Service"), is the controller of personal data described in this Privacy Notice.

2. Personal data we collect

  • Account data: name, email address, password (hashed), business name, phone, logo, website.
  • Customer and quote data you submit: customer name, email, phone, address, vehicle details, photos, signatures, line items, and notes.
  • Support and communications: messages you send us and email engagement (delivery, opens, unsubscribes).
  • Usage and device data: log data, IP address, browser/device identifiers, timestamps, and feature usage.
  • Payment data: collected and processed by Stripe, our payment processor. We receive limited subscription metadata such as plan, status, and renewal dates — we do not store full card details.

3. How and why we use it

  • Provide and operate the Service (account creation, generating quotes, sending customer-facing approvals).
  • Manage subscriptions, billing, and renewals (via Stripe).
  • Provide customer support.
  • Maintain security, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our Terms.
  • Improve the Service and develop new features.
  • Send transactional emails (account, billing, quote delivery) and, where permitted, product updates.

4. Legal bases

Where applicable law (such as the GDPR or UK GDPR) requires a legal basis, we rely on: performance of a contract (to provide the Service you signed up for); legitimate interests (to secure, support, and improve the Service); consent (for optional marketing or non-essential cookies); and compliance with legal obligations (tax, accounting, fraud prevention).

5. Sharing your data

We share personal data with:

  • Stripe, Inc., our payment processor, for subscription management, payments, and invoicing.
  • Service providers / subprocessors for hosting, database, email delivery, analytics, AI processing, and customer support tooling, under appropriate confidentiality terms.
  • Professional advisers such as legal and accounting professionals, where reasonably necessary.
  • Authorities where required by law, regulation, or valid legal process, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.

We do not sell your personal data.

6. International transfers

Our service providers may process data in countries outside your own, including the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions) for international transfers.

7. Retention

We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations (e.g. tax records), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When no longer needed, data is deleted or anonymised.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent. Users in the EU/UK also have the right to lodge a complaint with their local supervisory authority. To exercise any of these rights, contact us through the in-app support channel; we will respond within the time required by applicable law (typically within one month for GDPR/UK GDPR requests).

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege practices — to protect personal data. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong, unique password and notify us of any suspected unauthorised access.

10. Cookies and similar technologies

We use strictly necessary cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and to operate the Service securely. Where we use analytics or marketing cookies in the future, we will request consent where required and provide a way to manage preferences.

11. Changes to this notice

We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated through the Service.
